Just like your business, Bentwood Financial Group was founded with a vision to help people achieve success. While the business we run today holds a very special place, the story behind the Bentwood name holds a greater significance.

It began with a meeting in 1980 between the founder, Daniel Trevino – along with his father, expectant mother, and two younger brothers. At the time, the family was living in a small neighborhood of San Angelo, Texas.

Daniel’s father had always taught his sons to take advantage of an opportunity. In the family living room, he asked if they would like to move to the esteemed Bentwood Country Club neighborhood. In exchange, they would assist their father in the construction of their family's new home.

The family values of perseverance, determination, and a dream… ‘anything is possible’ was a realization. Thus, the Bentwood name signified and nurtured team work, dedication, and values.

Fittingly, Bentwood Financial Group makes a difference in people’s lives, providing solutions to their customers to pursue growth and development within their own business in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, throughout Texas and nationwide.

Meet The Cash-Flow Doctor -Daniel Trevino

Born in San Angelo, Texas, I progressed from a young student athlete to graduation from Central High School in 1981; At the time, running fueled my mind in track and cross country – before attending Angelo State University in 1982 to pursue a degree in Business.

My career path began in 1981, employing me thru 2007 at GTE Telecommunications, Southwest Office Systems, Providian Financial, and Washington Mutual in fields encompassing Operations, Payroll & Financial Accounting, Sales and Marketing.

With the culmination of experience acquired over the past 28 years, my expertise focuses on the Financial arenas of sales, payroll, vendor and inventory management, quality assurance, government regulations and requirements, and disaster recovery.

Pursuing my desire to own a business finally came true in 2007 by following the words of my dad, with the incorporation of Bentwood Financial Group.

My parents had spent their entire careers in the financial industry, so my choice to follow within the family tradition is one of great pride. My mission is to do as they had done…. ‘assist clients’ by providing alternative funding solutions to meet their business needs.

Our family’s strong integrity and need to help people is the core of our business. Everyone – from my parents, two brothers and sister – are involved in the service sector in some shape or form.
